CAI Communications Wins Ten Design of Excellence Awards in Graphic Design USA Competition

Raleigh, NC (PRWEB) November 5, 2008 -- CAI Communications, a business-focused, branding, marketing, and employee communications firm in Raleigh, NC, won ten Design of Excellence awards in the 22th annual GD USA of New York competition.

The awards include four for Web site design, two logos, an ad, an e-holiday card, a law school admissions catalog and an annual report.

"This is an increase of four awards over the 2007 GD USA recognition," said Steve McCulloch, Director of CAI Communications. The GD USA competition is one of the largest graphics design awards competitions in the US. The judges reviewed over 10,000 submissions, primarily from the US, in 24 categories and made 1,000 awards. The competition is open to advertising agencies, graphic design firms, corporate, institutional and publishing in-house departments. The majority of the submissions were in the areas of print, packaging, point-of-purchase, Internet, interactive, and motion graphics. Graphic Design USA, a subscription only publication, is circulated monthly to 28,000 professional designers, primarily in the US. (www.gdusa.com.)
